In the coming weeks, we'll celebrate the art of the unexpected with unexpected art. In busy streets and on empty walls. In the clamor of traffic and in the stillness of the night. When you least expect it, art is going to happen. And when it does, you'll get the details here.
EVENTS September 6, 2008 > Sign, Sign Everywhere a Sign.
Before the sun got up we got down to business, posting nearly 500 "Vote for Art" yard signs at five locations across C-U, including the Farmer's Market at Lincoln Square in Urbana, north Prospect, Market Place Mall, Research Park and Florida Avenue. Later in the day, manifesto readings were also held at the Farmer's Market and on WEFT - thanks to someone who heard our message at Mike and Molly's and invited us to take our message to the masses. Thanks WEFT! Check out video and photos from our biggest covert operation to date.
